Default Tachometer light is fading

I have a problem with my tach. It is dark on the left half. Is it a loose cable? I will poke around after I get home from work but would love to have an idea what to look for.

Thanks

You just have a burnt out bulb, unless the circuit board has a break in it. If it's the bulb, (and it probably is) that's a cheap fix.

+1 what Mark said.
Kinda frustrating to remove the fairing, remove the dash assembly from the front subframe, THEN remove the backing from the dash to get at the tiny little $3.00 bulb. But for some strange reason, your uniformly-lit speedometer assembly will look more beautiful than it ever has after you've gone through all this trouble.
Good luck.

Put LEDs in if you can. Red would look good, except for the whole redline thing. I'm sure you'll figure something out.
