New Member, First Bike EX500
Hello, my names James im 18 years old, I am new to both this forum and riding on two wheels. I am very excited about my new bike its a 2004 Ninja 500R with 3100 miles bought it for $2400 on my 18th birthday (kind of my own present). I'm excited to be part of this community and I hope I can take alot of insight from the members and I hope to give the little knowledge I know.
Any advice for a newbie about riding or anything pertaining to my Ninja, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-James

First, welcome to the asylum. 2nd, congrats on joining the motorcycle world. It's not for everybody. I think you have to be a little off to ride. I've been of for 32 years.
Now, some words of wisdom.
1. Take the MSF course.
2. Always wear your gear. Even if it's just to run down the street. You just never know.
3. Don't drink and ride. You are too young to drink anyway. But don't drink and ride.
4. Ride like you are invisible. Don't take it for granted others can see you. Don't ride in blind spots.
5. Wear your gear.
I'm sure others will come along and add comments of wisdom.
