Mirrors
Ok I've got yet again another problem. Anytime I go over say 80k my left mirror gets pushed back by the wind. I've taken them both off and made sure everything was tight and when I put them back on used Loctite. Still comes crawling back when the speed gets up, its just annoying. Anyone else have this problem or suggesttions on how to fix it?

RE: Mirrors
tighten the bolts (they are covered by the black plugs or w/e you wanna call them, they're covering with adhesive, just get fingernail in, take off, tighten, and put right back on. i had the same problem. you said you took em off and what not, but the part where you adjust them needs tightened i'm sure you've tried. theirs no way they should be coming back in if you do it right. my left kept moving in, i did what i said and hasn't moved since.

RE: Mirrors
On my 1990 i found that no matter how much i tightened the screw that it would still move at speeds over 60mph. What I did was take out the screw and filed the stalk of the mirror and mount slightly and inserted a thin flat lock washer (idealy the kind with several little edges) if you do this it will stay in place. you probably wont want to tighten as much after doing this as they wont swing away on impact as easily. I also machined a small spacer mount to move the mirror so i could see past my arms. Im not sure if your bike is newer if so the the washer may still work but im not sure. it took a couple mins and a 10 cent washer to fix mine.
good luck
