Default Laminar Lip

I received my Laminar Lip today and installed it using the 3M Dual Lock Fasteners. I was a little skeptical about the "Velcro" material but it's really a great idea. I took her out for a little spin and immediately noticed the reduced buffeting. The wind is more pronounced but much smoother.
The ride to work was aweful and really took away some of the enjoyment of riding. The Zero Gravity shield was an option but from my earlierthread that idea was scrapped.
I will update with pictures tomorrow. Take a look at the site for now http://www.laminarlip.com/ex500.php
Thanks Chris for recommending it to me.

Very nice ride home! So much difference, much nicer ride. Still some buffeting but considerably less.
I adjusted it a little for tomorrow, still too high. It's definitely a tuning thing. Too high is turbulant and quiet, too low it noisy but calm. The very nice man at Laminar that I spoke to on the phone recommended 1" above the stock shield.
We'll see if it's even better tomorrow...
re: the pics, the lip does stick up away from the screen but it's clear so you don't notice it. It also does what it's supposed to. And I think it looks cool.
Also please excuse the terrible cropping.

Thanks for the report and pictures.
I'd always thought the stock screen was adequate for my dog, but she does seem to get blown around a little whenever we get over 60.
She hated the $70 custom doggles I got for her; the only time she's ever fallen off the bike was when she was struggling to take them off her face.
I'll have to get one of these and see if she likes it.
Thanks again Paulie.
Peace!

I never wear gloves when riding with the dog. It's both a reminder to take it easy while she's with me AND if anything ever happened to her, I'd just as soon go through life without my thumbs.
Thank you ATGATT-overlord.
Peace!

Still trying to adjust the device properly. It's hard todecide which is better. Today's adjustment was not so great, lot's of turbulance, my head was getting beaten around.
