Default headlight connection question

i'm little confused at how and where the headlight connects. I bought an aftermarket, cheap headlight after I wrecked and ruined by stock fairing and headlight. Some friends install it for me, but because it's so cheap, something around the bulb melted and it just keeps blowing fuses. So, I need to fix that I bought a bulb that I think is supposed to work on these bikes. Its a 9003 h4 bulb with the three metal prong plug but I don't know if theres a place where that will plug in or if i need to buy something or what. I looked online at bike bandit at the schematic of the stock 2005 headlight and that bulb has the three prongs so....anyway...not that mechanically inclined so if someone could give my some advice i'd appreciate it. thanx

The stock wiring harness had a three socket connector that would mate with the three pins on the H4 bulb. If your stock harness is missing the connector you will need to get a wiring diagram (check a haynes manual) and wire up the bulb using discreet connections. In other words, solder the wires to the bulb. Or you can wire in a new connector. It's all up to you.
