Hazard Switch... ..where is it??!!!

Hazard Switch... ..where is it??!!!
Acquired a gently used, clean '00 500R. Great bike, love it, meets the needs.
Runs fine, all is well; previous owner even had the stock manual. Excellent!!
However, the little picture in the manual indicating the hazard switch... ..just does not exist on the left hanblebar of this bike: Hi/low beam, turn signals, horn, choke.... but no hazard switch.
And as I have looked at other 500Rs, I don't see that switch.
So the question is... ... is the switch under the headlite, or is there a special combination of turning the key to a select position, while pushing in on the turn signal switch with the headlamp set to HI, that will get the blinkers to do the hazard flash mode?

RE: Hazard Switch... ..where is it??!!!
Tha hazard switch is only on the European model.
I kicked around the idea of trying my ZX9R's switch assembly on the 5R, but haven't gotten around to it. (The 9R has a hazard switch, but my 49-state 500 does not.
Ride safely.
