RE: Hard Top Case and Rack for EX500
I am not familiar with luggage racks and the like. The dome to me is not for a ride but maybe to the military copters.
I have only played with the cortex tank bag and a backpack for my 5+k miles this year.
corbin has some stuff though also.

Givi has alot of different bags, I went bigger as I didn't have the option of adding side cases, (until someone mentioned Hepco-Becker, wish I had known earlier though it is more $!). The bag pops off in a second, unlock it with a key and push the release button so it is easy to leave at home or in your hotel on the road. Givi plates mount up all their boxes/cases so you could have a smaller one for about town and larger for bigger trips. I would rather have too much room than not enough, this should fit a weeks worth of gear easily and it isn't in the way at all. Jim.

Thanks for the pics. I plan to mount my home fabbed top plate from another bike on this and I had planned on making my own sort of mount but it is more complicated than I expected since you have to get to the frame in a round about sort of way.
I am thinking about getting either the Givi or Hepco Becker set up and mounting to my plate. Is the Givi sturdy? Do you have any pics just showing the mount without the box and plate? Anyone have experience with the Hepco Becker?
