I have a 94 ninja 500....Bike sputtered, i pulled over and I looked down into my gas tank.... noticed i could see the bottom bare, with two shallow pools of gas, half an inch high to left and right side of the bare spot.

Is this a case of low gas or did I have enough? I actually had a month of problems of the bike sputtering, which i brought to a mechanic to get it fixed a day before this incident happened. just wondering if this is coincidence, thanks

 

i would say thats pretty low. did you switch to reserve. that could ofbeen your sputtering problem.

 

I agree with hoedogg. that's pretty low no wonder it sputtered on you.
