it sounds like it's time to buy a new exhaust for the bike look at a muzzy ezhaust for it. it shouldn't be real expensive.

 

I have a muzzy oval system on my 500, and it sounds awesome! If you like throaty, just brings the deep out of the para twin...

 

I actually listened to some sound clips for the Muzzy and the sound is GREAT! My husband put one on his FJR1300 and it made a helluva difference in sound. Nice looking bike btw.

 

hey ya i just think it sounds kinda like a moped i have seen a couple of 250's around here with exaust and they don't sound as good as just stock. I was going to look into buying a zzr 600 its a street bike but im the kind of person that really likes those really windy roads that you do 70 threw around a really sharp turn check it out! But im still looking to keep my 500 its really clean and fun!
