Hello, I had the cams out of my EX500, I don't have the manual handy, could someone with a manual please confirm the cam timing for this motor?

If I remember correctly, it's #1 cylinder TDC, and line up the marks on the cam gears, please correct me if I'm wrong!!

Believe that's correct, but I'll check the manual tonight and give you the full answer then.
If you can't wait that long, just be sure to turn the crank two full revolutions by hand before you close it up. I've seen the results of pistons hitting valves and it's uuugly.
