Yes sir. Nothing.

I was thinking maybe it was the spark plugs, but wouldn't it run on 1 cylinder other than just flat out dying? Which would lead to maybe a pinched fuel line or a vacuum hose that came off? Maybe the petcock went bad?

Just throwin ideas out there. The really crappy thing is I have no time to work on it! Maybe this Sunday I'll have free...i work saturdays so i cant do it then...

Well, I brought it to work today since we had some down time.

After extensive tearing crap apart, I found the problem. Took the left cover off the engine (near the sprocket). Metal shavings EVERYWHERE. A friend of mine who used to be a motorcycle mechanic said most likely a bearing.

Heres the engine cover off:

The bulk of the shavings had already been removed at that point.

Here it is before I found out the good news:

This sucks.

I'm going to try and fix it, then sell it. The local Honda shop's owner has an 08 cbrr600 that hes about to be selling, I'm going to try and pick that up. I absolutely love the 09 zx6s (in the blue...gorgeous bike), but the cbrr will be about $4k cheaper with the 5 year warranty than the zx6, over the cours of the next few years, I'll more than likely step up to a kawi liter bike...but only time will tell.
