Default Better sounding exhaust than D&D?

Hi everyone,

I just installed a D & D full exhaust kit for my 2002 Kawi Ninja EX500 and it sounds awful!!!! It's just a nasty tone (I don't mind the loudness). Since it eliminated the factory dual can set up, and I just need to replace the D & D exhaust can slip on, does anyone have a suggestion for a quiter better sounding muffler? Please share your thoughts as I am new to riding but I hate the sound!!! Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. I glanced at a 650 leovance exhaust and was pretty amazed in the tone for me. Sorry, no definite answers for ya.

FtrV8, What mods did you have to do to install the 2 into 1 D&D? I am looking to get one but don't want to hack up my lower fairing, don't care about the center stand.

personally id rather keep the centerstand and lose the lower. that stand is invaluable

also, i dunno about d&d, but with my vance and hines (which lets you keep the centerstand) its not so much "hacking" the lower as it is giving it a little shave.

Where can I find a Vance and Hines system? I can't seem to find it for this bike.
