I would like to know what mods have you guys/girls done to your 500 bikes???
I want to know what I'm in for..... one thing fo sho - Less $$$

So if you could say what the mod is and show a nice pic that would be great!
Also the cost of the mod, this will give me an idea of what Mods to do first and which mods I want!!!



This will be my first mod: the Mirrors, swapping them out with either of these 2: '02-'03 ZX9R / '05-'06 ZZR600 about $60 (right?)

My bike dealer quoted me for a new ZZR600 sideview mirror.......$74.......(for ONE!)

 

hopefully the guys that have already done these will chime in and shine the light for us....

 

My one and only mod - Dark Smoke Lockhart Phillips speedscreen, just because it looks a lot better than the clear one did! I don't really have any intention on doing any more mods......I love her the way she is!!!!

 

Shot my stock screen on the inside with semi flat black, huge improvment in appearance IMHO, (a second EX from my group of friends painted his the day he saw mine). Touring screen in route will get the same treatment. Mirror wideners mentioned in another post are a must do mod, or wider mirrors, gotta see the nuts behind you. SS brake lines will be on soon and a Givi rear rack with a Pelican box. Mods expected to pegs, possibly bars and adding some black to my green bike to knock down the glare a bit. Jim.

Competition Werks fender eliminator
Race tech gold cartridge emulators and new springs for front forks.
Perelli Sport Demon Tires (110/70F; 140/70R)
oh yeah, I forgot my SS brake lines

Planned mods:

Vortex Rearsets (need to order the 98 zx6r shift lever)
New graphics (on order, waitin' for the UPS man)
Upgraded rear shock
Serachu Stainless Exhaust (if I can scrape together the $500).

 

Nope not a spray - the windscreen came like that.......it is the Dark Smoke one from Lockhart Phillips (it is the exact same as the stock one - but just a heck of a lot better looking!!) They're not too bad price wise either - mine after taxes and all that was $100 Canadian. Luckily it was my christmas present last year!
