Default 1988 ex500r lower installation

Got a beautiful brand new old stock lower in white to install.took it out today and can't find any mounting points?? Can't tell from the fiche what i need. The holes on top seem to almost meet the radiator screw holes for the screen but don't come close to the tabs on the frame>is it supposed to mount behind the radiator screen? or in front? Is there a cradle under he bike that should have mounting holes for the back of the lower like on the Concours? I on't even see a place to mount it if there is?? Anyone near North Nj that I could look at yours to see what I'm doing>

I'm not positive about this, but I do believe that some of the earlier EX500's did not have the chin fairing.
I could be wrong on that. If the previous owner 86ed the chin fairing, he probably also removed the brackets. Do you see any mount points (holes) on the frame, near the fairing? There are small brackets that mount on them, which contain mount points for the fairing. If you live in Southern Cal and can swing by, I might have a spare set of those brackets, but I'd need to see your bike to make sure that my '02 brackets would fit.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
