Hey y'all,
A lot of us 250R riders are first-time motorcyclists and bought our bikes as a "first bike" in order to eventually move on to something bigger. Of course many of us have discovered that the 250R has a lot to offer, and is worth keeping. Nevertheless for those of you that want to move on some day, what do you see yourself "upgrading" to?
Personally, I've always loved Ducati Monster's and I'm positive that will be my next bike... although I'll probably keep my Ninja as well..

The 250R was actually my second bike. I bought it thinking I would never be able to get a legitimate title for my KZ750. But I did, so now I ride both. My next ride will likely be the ZX-14 by next year if all goes well.[8D]I will sell the KZ750 first, and possibly the 250R if I need more money.

I think I'd get a Vulcan 900 for longer trips and keep my Nin-Jet for fun around town. I've taken it on day trips and while a blast to ride, I'd love to stretch my legs out on those nice highway floorboards for the 300+ mile days. Upgrading to a 'Busa to do 180mph just doesn't make much since to me, but to each their own.

I am trading my new 2007 Ninja 250 in on the 2008 model when it comes out here very soon. Paying an extra grand and driving the new 08 Ninja 250 home.
