Default Yamaha R1 mirrors should bolt right up!

I saw this guys 250R on youtube, where he bolted up mirrors off an R1 Yamaha. He said they fit perfectly, aside from needing to put backing nuts on them. No big deal to me, so I just bought a new set off ebay today. Once I get them, I'll post the pics.

I'd definitely like to see a pic of that. Mine's all stock. Been thinking about hacking off that huge slab of a back fender but too lazy to do it. Been cleaning up the back lot lately. Too many trees need cutting.

Nothing hard about removing the rear fender. Take off four bolts and you're done! You do have to make a bracket for your license plate though.

The mirrors just came in today while I was at work. I haven't done much yet, I did take the old mirrors off, and yes, the mounting stud spacing is exactly the same! YAY!!! But unfortunately, the Yamaha mounting studs are not long enough to pass all the way through the Ninja's mirror support bracket without some cutting. I'm gonna take the front fairing off so I can get easy access to it. I'll take some pics to show what I'm talking about.
