yea i should, but the thing is the previous owner had it maintenanced at a honda dealership, and they put in 20w50 according to the records, so i added some of that in there.

 

so the only option i have is to give the carb a good cleaning??

 

ah... nvm u guys. it was out of gas!![:'(] swithced it to reserve and took out some more motor oil and it started. stupid me! thanks for your guys' input though, i appreciate it

 

No Problem... Its funny cause I just got my 250 and I did the same thing

 

We should sticky a post called: How to fix every new 250 owners starting/running/idleing problems. and suggest checking the gas. I'm one of at least 5 new 250 owners who ran out of gas and asked for help on this forum hahaha. welcome!

 

Same with me. [&o] I have to hit RES at about 175-200 miles. First time I ran out I was in traffic and did not know what was wrong for a good 30 seconds. Holding up traffic while I tried to start it. Second time it only took me about 10 second to figure out what was wrong. Now I just fill up early

 

lol useful information. at least i know im not the only one.. now i dont feel so bad for overlooking the easiest way to fix things hahaha.
