Upgrading the suspension pays off. It all depends on how much you want to invest but there are several options in that regard. I have put ex500 springs in the fork and have a zx600 shock for the rear, waiting for it to warm up so I can do some testing first. Racetech has some good products, I will eventually put valve emulators in the forks.
Tires are always a good upgrade.

hey guys where can i get all the dress up stuff. i'd like to make it look alot better before i start making it faster because it is plenty fast for me right now. I bought it for a good learning and starter bike. but like the carbon gas cap would be tight. and do they still make neon light kits for bikes?

any color at any price...you get what you pay for...I have 3 leds from NightStalker...you can find new plastics from airtech and get them custom painted...check any of the online stores for parts...

Ebay has quite a few uprade parts for the 250, chrome brake and clutch levers, chrome oil, and brake fluid covers, aftermarket pegs, tank pads, chrome grips, windscreen mesh, solo seat cover, mod your tail light to have the turn signals built in, paint some of the parts that arn't painted, ie. chain cover. These are just some of the things I have found that are easily upgradable on the 250.

and is there any pics of a 250 with the rear fender delete and also some of the other mods. flush blinkers. carbon. etc. it would help influence my changes.
