RE: uni pod filter question
Have you added an aftermarket exhaust system? If not, you won't gain much from the air pods anyway. But no, I wouldn't do it. Your bike will only run worse by not having the proper air fuel mixture.

well here is the deal, I CANNOT for the life of me get those airbox boots back onto the carbs, they were off when I bought the bike and found that tonight....thats why the bike wont idle right, too much air...WAAAY too much air...I seriously tried all night to do it, I have them both hose-clamped at one point then somewhere along the line they popped out....I just dont want the headache! no exhaust, just want them for the ease of maintenance.......

RE: uni pod filter question
I think Ill just take it over to the dealer on friday and pay them the $35 or whatever for them to re-attatch the airbox....I dont want to take the risk of messing up my engine from running lean and I wanna be riding so I dont want to wait for a jet-kit. the bike only had one spring-clamp on each side when I got it......those things dont do anything!
