lost me big time there. Perhaps it's because I don't really understand CARBS. I'll try to do some reading, and then come back to your posting... I'm sure it'll make more sense to me then.

fms, youll need to lear carbs for track days if your going to go at it seriously. could be at the same track with different temps and totally throw off the jetting. i allways put the temps in my log book along with my jets sizes, needle position and screrw settings. its better to be 8/10ths of the way there then 3/10ths if you know what i mean. look into racing the 250, i believe they have a class that only requires the safty wiring and the lights taped or removed as well as the mirrors and the riders to have full gear.
