Whats the location of all the controls on the 08 250R? On my last bike, which was 15 years ago, the gear shifter was at my right foot, the rear brake was the left foot, the clutch was the left hand and throttle and front brake was right hand. Is it still the same on this one?

 

Did you mean to say the rear brake was on your right foot, shifter on the left?

If that's the case, then yeah, it's the same. Otherwise, what kind of bike did you own before?

 

No, it was really the way I said, it was a hodaka dirt bike, and it was so old, I couldnt get a gear shifter, so I had to use a pair of vice grips, lol. And it was on the right. I swear.

 

I have seen bikes with the gear shift on the right, and the brake on the left. But not on our ninjas!

 

Hodaka? Sweet, I had a 1974 Hodaka, but the shifter and brake was just like the new bikes. What bike did you have? Here is a picture of what my bike looked like. I was 14 the bike was used and it was 1978......Good times. By the way, where do you live? That might shed some light on your past experience.
