Just finished paint and want to get some woodcraft bars or new oem bars (mine a slightly bent), I noticed WC costs 153 bucks, does that include both sides along with the bars and "risers"? And I can't find a good place to find used OEM ones if I decide to go that route, because factory new ones are hella expensive. Any help would be great, thanks.

I don't know about the handlebars, but I've gotta say I really like the street fighter look of your 250!

You should put some little turn-downs on your pipes! That would look SWEET!

 

hah, yeah that would look sweet, i dunno if i would have time to make em tho, i've finally had time to do all this during spring break after months of waiting. but it sounds NOTHING like a 250 now, i had my buddy ride it around last night and it was cool to get a second person perspective, god i love it, so loud and meety, and it changed the pwoer band for the better, lots down low, less up top, perfect for where i ride, and now people notice me more, it's already saved me several times!

 

I cannot photochop worth a darn, but I would think that glassing in the rear frame would have been cool. I am not hip on the open pipes though.

 

I'm confused, your not using any fairings? And isn't open pipes bad for the engine?
I like the flat black paint, I considered doing that on mine.

yeah probably will hurt it but heres the thing, the bike has 50k miles on it already, i don't plan on keeping her for much longer, hopefully going to get a new bike this summer, and the main reason why i did it is because there are too many ******** were i commutethat almost freaking kill me, the open pipes have saved me several times already. that and i really like the sound

 

75.00 for a new jet kit, just get one for a full race system it will probably have the biggest jets, and that will lean her out closer to where it should be. Will run better too.

But hell if she is a throw away and you don't mind burning her out soon handle it. Just hope she doesn't come apart while at freeway speeds
