Default Pro oiler?

I've read a few posts about a Pro oiler, but can't find anything on Google. Is it meant for track bikes or just daily commuters like mine? I don't get a chance to ride long distances much ( 3 months old and 900 miles I've put on my new '07), so should I get one? Cost? Difficulty installing? Thanks

I would not take anything for mine. It will benefit high mileage moreso but is great even on low mileage, the only time it puts out is when the wheel is moving.

I prolly would not bother with the oiler for the streets. Besides inspecting the chain, cleaning and reoiling only takes a few minutes after a short ride.

It all depends on the care you give. It would take me 30min or more to clean and oil my chain. Also if you decide to go on a trip of 400 miles or more it really is a lifesaver. it also will pay for itself in chains and sprockets. A friend went fom Ga to Idaho and return. It really was great. I am planning to go from Ga. to Ill.

Understood Oldone. My longest ride last year was almost 14hrs. I carried my lube but did not clean. 3 days later, I cleaned and lubed again. It is all good, maintain your chain. hmm, GA to IL, sounds like a good ride.
