I'm gonna pick up an 08 this summer. Had an 01, but sold it for a gsxr600 racer I was gonna turn street legal, then had to sell it. Shoulda kept my ninja . Mind if I ask how much you paid for it?

I bought my '08 last Saturday for $3700 OTD. I had 3 of the older models, as well. The '08 is a much superior bike in every way, except for comfort. It is sharper, more focused, smoother, more refined, etc. It's a great bike. Not just for a 250, either. It's a great bike, and I've hada bunchof them. Highly recommended!

you paid 3700 OTD? I really find that hard to believe. unless your not including tax. i paid 4600 out the door. tax and all but that also included gap insurance. i figured that would be a wise purchase. As for the bike, i love it. Yeah i wish i had gotten a bigger bike, but do i need a 600 to learn on? No. I know this bike should hold its re-sell value fairly well. (at least i hope) I strongly suggest this bike. Tons of fun.

$3700 OTD, all-inclusive. Yes, that's a very good deal on a "new" model. I buyA LOT of bikes, and I have done so for the last 25 years (Especially the last 6 or 8 years. A LOT, I say. This is my 59th bike.). My dealers treat me very well. Trust me, I have spent my money. I spend on quantity, and they make their money off me on volume.
