First, tell him not all scooters are slow or boring!
This bad scooter will gps @ 63 mph and hold that speed as long as you want it, and in it's current set-up, is not fast enough to compete on the various circuits for the 70cc class.
Second, the Ninja250 has no problem hammering 100 mph. What do you plan to keep up with?

hahaha. yeah, I have weird dreams like that too. But anyway, I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs. I think the bike is just really fun to ride and easiley keeps up with traffic. When I bought my 250 my friend rode it home for me and he is 6'4" 210lbs. (he rides a 1800 Mean Streak) and he was suprised how quick it was. But he looked so damn goofy on it!
