Ninja 250 prices

RE: Ninja 250 prices
The MSRP on the bike is $2999, but if someone has only had the bike for a year or less, they are trying to recover the tax and tags, and the more significant dealer charges; some charge as much as 600 for freight and assembly. That's why I'll never buy a brand new bike. There are just too many good deals out there on bikes with under 500miles. I got my 2005 250r march of this year with 500miles (mint), purchased an extended two year factory warrenty and still came in under three grand.

I just picked up my 06 250r today! Unless you live in a bigger city, or have close access to other kawasaki dealers in your area, you may end up paying close to $4,000 after EVERYTHING is all said and done. that does also include taxes and a year of full coverage though. my problem was that the 06 250r i bought was the last one within about 500 miles from me. I know because I called every where! the dealer I bought it from also knew this. and because of that, there was really no bargining power on my part. (I guess it doesn't pay to buy a motorcycle only months before the 07's come out) what the dealer got me on, was document fees, shipping, setup, and finances. Just prepare to spend around a thousand $$$ more when EVERYTHING is all said and done!
so that's why you see people selling used bikes for close to msrp. I know, it really really sucks
