Don't you guys get tired of people asking what size Ninja you have and when you say it's a 250 they go "Oh, it's just a 250?" I'm so sick of people saying that, even though they have no idea what this machine is capable of. And what's funny is the majority of people who say that don't even own a bike. Just thought I'd see what you guys thought.
Thanks,
Nate

I have been looking at the 250's just for that. The prob is suspension is way off for me. In fact was thinking on getting two 250's, but the wife backed out. hmm, know the road and your ride. All I have to say on that. I would love to have a set up 250.

+1 on this one! not only do I get remarks for being a female on two wheels, considering when I ride out to Clearwater beach most females are on the back muffler sniffing and I'm on my own wheeles. I also get the "pick on" by riders in a higher catergoy of bike than mine. However, my 250 does great on the track, especially when leaning her as far over as I can. Racing someone, no, I don't think I'll take that bite, but I will track her any day! I'm proud to atleast be on a bike, and have absolutely no desire to impress anyone. Atleast I'm riding..that's how I see it!!! The 250 is capable of a lot, but to me it's not about the "who's is bigger" game.

I have found that everyone I have talked to, are somewhat impressed that my bike is a 250. Even the Harley riders around here wave at me. I was even invited to a Harleys only event, so others could see the bike.

I work with a harley guy and I know the only reason they would want to have a sportbike at their event would be to belittle it. Trust me, I know how the harley rider's "small" mind works. I get s*it all the time for wearing "sportbike gear" and riding a "sportbike".

Ha Ha Ha, dang markmeinteil you must ride with a pretty tough crowd. The only comments I get are "that gear should keep you warm" or "that bike looks fast." Any comments made after that I do not know.
