Glad your ok. I dont know what it is about construction dirt its just more slippery.
I used to blue stake for the utility companies I was walking up to my truck to get in the shell when I stepped on the gutter and did a zoomer straight under the truck. Good thing I had my hard hat on or I could have cracked my skull open, in the middle of nowhere that wouldnt have been good [:@]

 

Exactly same thing happened to me the DAY I finished painting my bike. Took a left and there was a bunch of loose dirst and gravel on the road to cover pot holes, bike just slid out. Good to hear you're ok though. Just remember, someone else knows how it feels [&:]

Ya, I'm doing better now. My new mirror is broke and replaced, turn signal broke and replaced, new bar end scratched to hell, new clutch lever scratched to hell, and dent in exhaust.

I bled worse when I cut my foot on a picture frame a couple months ago. I hit a corn or wart or whatever directly on the corner of a picture frame on the floor. That scratched it right off! It bled really quickly, and I got blood on the floor here and there. Blood doesn't even scare me that much. But bone sticking through skin on some of those skateboard/rollerblade videos kinda makes me cringe. [&:]
