Hey guys, this is my first post. Im not a bike owner...yet.
I starting to get into the biking world. ive drivven a 600r and a 2001 250 a year ago or so, but i want to hopefully get my own bike in the winter. I will hopefully take the MSF course this summer, save up some cash and look for a used 08 250R.

my quistion is, when you guys move on to bigger bikes (if you do..), how much would you expect to get from your 250R?
Its easy to find a 250 now with 1000-2000 miles for like 2 grand. I'm not sure if the same thing will hapen with the 08's right? I'm a broke college student, and so i just wanted to get a good idea before hand.

I'm afraid you're not likely to find a used '08 250 by the end of the year for any less than, say-$2500-3000 my guess.

 

Agreed. I suspect you'll see them for $2500'ish and up. They're very popular, and fairly hard to find in many places. It'll be a popular starter bike, as well as a commuter and just fun bike.

Having said that, I'm not planning on selling this one. I've already been through all the bigger bikes. I still have a few of them. The 250 has a value all its own.

 

yeah i figured it would be 2500-3000....im worried that i wont find any used by fall. errr
