highway riding...sit-up or tuck/lean forward?
am new to riding all together...so i was wondering when to lean/tuck forward or when to ride sitting up on the highway/expressway. do i lean momentarily or permanently after certain speeds? at what speeds should i tuck myself behind the windscreen? does it matter. please elaborate. thanks in advance.

RE: highway riding...sit-up or tuck/lean forward?
I sit up and usually ride one handed, but if I'm on the interstate (speed limit here is 70 and traffic usually flows at 80) then i make a fist and put it directly infront of the gas cap, then lay on the tank and support my helmet/chin on my fist. I counter steer to keep myself going straight or take turns. Its much more comfortable, quieter, and saves gas.

i am usually up one handed untill about 65 then i start to tuck in a little more as the speed rises, i stay up enough that the wind keeps pressure off my wrists

I usually crusie up and one handed untill about 65-70. Much faster than 60 and the wind starts jerking my head around too much. Then i usually put my left arm up on the tank and kinda lean on my arm/ fist.

im a new rider and i dont see how you could ride one handed! thats crazy when i hit bumps i feel like i could fly off the bike. anyways with my 250 i tuck down under the windscreen at about 70 or when i fly the wind pulling me back. its more of a comfort issuse tucking down, but kills my back.

After about 250 miles on the stock seat on my '08 250R, I tuck, shift, twitch, move from side to side, stand up, try to sit on the rear seat, etc., anything to relieve my aching butt on this stock seat.... Thinking about buying the Corbin for my bike.
