2008 red Ninja 250. 450 miles. Looks immaculate. Asking $3500 with Shoei Helmet and Joe Rocket jacket. Talked him to $3200.

Most 08 250's are going for a bit higher like $3500 and with around 5000 miles.

I think this might be a decent deal, what do you think? I could probably sell the helmet and jacket for a couple hundred to bring the total cost to $2900.

Kelly Blue Book says $2695 for retail, but that is for a bike with something like 3 or 5 thousand miles. This one has 450.

 

Yeah, its a hella of a deal. Look at this way, your not having ot pay crate fees, and your getting nice helmet and jacket to boot. 450 miles is not even broke in. I paid 3999 for my 09 Ninja 250. After crate fees and tax & title, it was 4700 dollars. Oh yeah my helmet and jacket was additional 400.00. Total 5100.00

 

That is what I'm thinking about the jacket. The bike is for my girlfriend (and secretly also for me) and she already has a helmet and gloves. Just no boots and no jacket.

It would be her first bike, and I know she's going to drop it in the gravel driveway...but man I am scoring some serious brownie points here for her birthday.

We've been together for almost 5 years and lived together for 4, so I am not too concerned with the "girlfriend" thing. Besides it's staying in my name.

We took a look at a yellow 07 today and I think we're gonna go for that one. Good deal or not, $3200 was more than I was looking to spend. Thanks for your input!
