with only a few more months of cold weather, want to do some more stuff to the bike before i bring it out, was thinking if any of these mods can be done, first, can the front headlight and fairing be changed out from any other bike? would even the 500 parts fit on the 250? i just dont like the square shape light on ours,, and i was thinking for the exhaust, can a single muzzy be put on and can it be installed where the license plate is? right under the seat, like on the R1? is there room behind our rear tire to do this?

 

I doubt that you can put an undertail on the 250, there is no room there. but a single can would make the bike sound meaner. as for the 500 stuff ihave wondered the same thing. but if you wanted to change the look you can also look at some of these:

what if i take out the rear taillight and put the muzzy there, is there still enough room, behind the rear tire to run the exhaust pipes?

 

probly not theres not alot of room between the inner fender and seat. if you elimnate the inner fender than all the eletronics get covered with road crap.

 

You can always glass-in the headlight opening and make a custom cut-out for whatever lights you want.
