Default RE: Still not starting

Yeah, had a coolant leak, it was from the small pipe that goes into the cylinder head and to the thermostat, isn't leaking now. And the smoke was from the exhaust wrap, seems like it has to cure a bit to the headers.

But oh my god.... it's twice as loud as it used to be and is so much faster... I'm so happy!!!!!!!!! My compression is REAL good and there is a lot of power down low. Quick question, it's idling kind of high though, idle fuel mixture screws are 2.5 out, I'm guessing if I turned them in it wouldn't idle as high?

... it's a completely different bike...

Turn the idle ****, not the a/f screws. At least all of the ninja's that I have had the **** on the left side of the ride.

Sounds like good progress. Congrats and enjoy.

hehe, i don't think anyone could make this mistake... it was bad.... like as in, i am stupid

camshafts were switched [&:]so everything was 45 degrees off, which is why half of it was intake and the other half was blowback (piston on compression cycle while the valves were still open)

Thanks man, I had gone too far to go to a shop at that point, glad I didn't... [&:]

Still idling high though, I'm gunna try to adjust my throttle cables but I dunno, I turned my idle screws in one full turn and didn't make too much of a difference, could it be the main jets?

Congrats on getting the bike started and running good.

I would check for a vacum leak for your High Idle the wrong amount of fuel wouldn't make it idle any different.
