Default downshifting

Just wanted to know if you could downshift 5 gears in a row by holding the clutch if you had to come to a stop? and is it normal when the rpm goes high when you downshift and HOW do you know when to downshift?

yeah but you really have to shift gears on your bike so you would know better then me on that sort of thing. some day im getting me one of those gear changeable bikes and im going to haul *** on it then i will need to know when to down shift and up shift and how to do a wheelie and why my bike dies when i put it in first with the kick stand down and why cant i find the battery on my bike and when should i get new tires and what kind because i only have 45 bucks to spend on them.

wow, i guess it's safe to say you don't have any riding experiance..... have you thought about taking the MSF course? i think you should do that instead of asking for help on a forum to learn how to ride.... i don't want to sound like we don't want to help you, but it would be better if you had someone face to face to help you.... but to answer your question, you could hold in the clutch and down shift..... i wish you the best of luck in learning how to ride.... but just take it slow and don't rush anything.... most of all gear up.... and i'm not talking about the gear your in.... make sure your protected.... and don't mind evil nina, he/she is alil bitter..... gear up and ride safe....

yes i am very bitter, day 2 of not smoking and i want to kill people.

so, newrider. you only live about 45 minutes to an hour away from me. if you want, i will help out the best i can, i will have a camera just incase, im not going to teach you how to ride a bike over the forums. but if you want to learn a little before you hit up a msf class then send me a pm.
