Default Do it your self 08 fender removal

So I got bored today and decided to remove the stock rear fender on my bike. Grabbed my trusty toolbox, an exacto knife from my model kit (covered in dust) and sat outside in the warm Alaskan sun. After a bit of debate on what to cut, I got it down to what I think is a nice look. Turns out the only thing that was needed was some brackets to attack the stock license plate bracket to the new shaved fender. I kinda jimmy rigged it for now until I can hop in the sheet metal shop at work to make something a little more sturdy. Here are some pictures of the finished job, BTW I will be doing some cleaning up when I can get something to sand slightly rough edges down.

No, sorry I didnt do any step by step pictures. If anyone is wanting to know how I did it, I can prolly break it down pretty easy. Honestly the hardest part was finding something to use as make shift brackets to hold the license plate bracket.
