Alrighty i have been thinking about getting another bike to outfit with a sidecar for riding in the winter. But i was just wondering if anyone has seen Ninja 250s or 500s with a side car before? Only thing that realy concerns me about a side car on this frame is the fact that theres realy no frame to the front of or the bottom of the engine to tie the sidecar too. Granted i could probly make something that would work im just wondering if anyone has seen this done before to draw ideas from...

Well i just got off the phone with a shop on the other side of WA state that does sidecar fab work. They told me it would be around $800 to make a subframe and mounts to put a sidecar on the Ninja. So im thinking im going to save for a bit and take the bike overthere this winter and let em go to town...

 

800$ just to add the mounts for a sidecar + the cost of a sidecar?

 

for about 3k you can buy a restored ww2 bike with sidecar like indiana jones rode
