pod filters and slip ons or a full system. i am ruynning cobra fi slip ons that make the 250 sound like a dirt bike with out a muffler deep and throty
moast of the major manufactors make somthing for the 250 the problem is finding some one that has the parts avaible try http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/common...questid=610271

To be honest...I would save your money and put it into a different bike. For the money you would spend trying to make the 250 faster you could of bought a 600 or something. Don't get me wrong...I love my 250, I just wouldn't spend money into "performance" parts that you won't be able to tell a difference anyway. Unless you where looking for some sort of track bike for a 250 class but then I would work on the internals.

i agree Danase,

Dustin,
you have to appreciate the bike for what it is, it is a small reliable sporty gas saver.
once you mess with exhaust/intake you have to rejet and change the way the bike was meant to perform, get a bigger bike if you want more performace, if you want to go faster on the highway do a +1 on the front gear, it will squeeze out a couple of extra miles at WOT (not worth it)

hmm bang for the buck. Although not like the two strokes, I am cuious enough totrack a 250 to see what it would be like. Would prolly be a blast. The expense is what kills everyone on trying. ie bang for the buck.
