I got **** from people before, then I destroyed a ZX-6R around a small twisty track. I've never seen somone's eyes look so big in a helmet before.

That wide donut will affect the geometry of the bike and will take more torque to spin. If you don't want to stand out, then get a 600 or 1000. People who don't know a 250 from a 1000 are probably people you don't want to impress anyway.
Kinda harsh words; sorry, but you can't make a cheetah out of a groundhog. Spend your money on a good used 600 or 750, instead of giving it to a dealer.

 

not only that but the biggest problem with 250 against a 1000 is not the tire but the fact that you ill have a hard time keeping up with them.....take the 250 and enjoy the 70mpg

the 2008 250R is one of the best models of the year. leave it alone. let your friends talk **** about the 250. yours is a better seller than theirs will ever be. u can keep up with them. u can beat them in twisties, if you know what u are doing. i lead my friend who rides a honda 600 thru the twisties all the time.

get over the high school ideology of "i wanna impress girls." that **** will get you a fun trip flying thru a trucks back window while you are looking at some ***** who isnt even looking at you, but the dude across the street.
