Bulbs
Hey Guys,
I want to buy some spare headlight, taillight/breaklight, and turn signal bulbs to have on hand for my bike. But I find the owner's manual to be worthless when it comes to bulb specifications. Does anyone know what # bulbs I need? Any help is appreciated.
My bike is a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja EX250. Also, how long do headlights usually last on a motorcycle?
Thanks
Nate

RE: Bulbs
Welcome to the forums....
I can't tell ya part #'s on the bulbs on your bike, but if you go to www.bikebandit.com it should give you the part numbers. My local Napa store can order many of the bulbs I use..

RE: Bulbs
Specifications for the headlight is 12V 60/55W H4
Taillight/brakelight is 12V8/27W
If you are looking for a brighter replacement bulb for low cost look for a sylvania silverstar. Otherwise they also sell OEM replacement quartz-halogen. (there is a thread around here somewhere about all that stuff)
Also, Kawasaki designed a linkage that would allow for the other type of light to be installed, just cant think of the name for it., look around there and you'll see two wires covered with clear plactic and thats what im talking about.
