Bottle Water
It is hot out and it would really help if you could take a sip of water to help keep dehydration at bay. The older you get the more this becomes a problem. While I have nothing but praises for the little 250, like everything, it has a few faults (although I find all are minor).
The one thing it lacks is cockpit space. I have the Pro Oiler controller on the left side of the fairing, The Sigma BC 1106 on right side fairing, TomTom on LH handelbar. Sat weather & comm RH handelbar. Now will someone tell me how to put my bottle water in frount of me and it look neat.
I think I am going to have to work for this one. Any thoughts, ideas or real knowledge would be appreciated.

I prefer a hydration pack it allows you to be able to drink without stopping. I have the same problem, I drink a lot of water normally throughout the day somethink like almost 2 liters. So when I ride and dont drink the sameamount of water I get a headache.

Does it have to be used with a straw? Or just the sealed bottle location?

I used a strap put around my tank bag, just to see if it would be a workable solution. I would grab the cap with left hand , unscrew and put cap in pocket, take bottle and take a quick swig, put back and then put lid back on. Just took a few seconds and I picked the right conditions. If the conditions are not right, you pull over.
I have used a hydration pack and cant say I care for them, it aggravated me to death. I am from a different generation
Dragon19 & evil636
I already look foolish enough sailing along on a 250 with a 4' grey beard breezing over my shoulder and a big smile with no teeth to filter out the bugs. Dont need any beer cans on the helmet or humps on the back.

i kinda got a kick out of that too. so pants with cargo type pockets are out of the question as well ? i usually take a bottle in my pocket and if im in need of water asap, pull it out and pull the cap off and swig and try to put the bottle back in my pocket. yeah i lost a few [>:]
