Get a battery maintainer, and wire in a plug and hook it up once a week. I top off the wife's bike all the time and it only takes an hour. Also if you are just hearing a clicking noise, it may be the starting solenoid. But keep in mind you can have enough power to light the headlight, and not enough to get the starter do do anything more than the clicking sound you just described. First and foremost get a charger and put it on the battery over night, the slower the charge the easier it is on the battery. If you still after charging only hear the clicking sound its probably connections or more than likely the solenoid.
