Default Anyone take a passenger on the 08 250r?

Anyone know how much weight this bike can take? I weigh 160lbs and my girl friend weighs 110. So thats total of 270 plus gear and whatever else. Any recomendations to taking a passenger?

You shouldn't have any problems with your weight and the GF.

I have not gone 2-up on the '08 yet, but I have on my earlier generation 250's. It'll do fine, so long as you understand it's a street-legal, 250cc, 4-stroke. The manual lists the max. weight for rider(s), gear, etc. as 375#. You're in good shape w/you and the GF.

If you haven't learned already, ignore him/her. You'll be happier, wiser, and live longer.

I ride my nine year old daughter around town on it a few times a week. My wife has been with me once.

Hey Ninja250dad, one reason I bought my new 250R is so that I can take my 6 year old grandson for a ride now and then. And then his little brothers when they get older. I've got 4 grandsons...ages 1, 3, 5 and the 6 year old soon to be 7. I had my wife ride with me once on the ZRX1200R I owned....and that did it for her. She won't do it again unless I get a cruiser...so, she'll have to wait a while.

Yes, mine said the same thing.Ninja seating is not as comfortable asGoldwing seating so I am watching for deals now and then. Sometime within the next year or two hope to get one. I bought my 250 for commute to work 50 miles one way......
