Default Aftermarket Parts

Hello my name is Chirs and I'm new to this bike forum. I never joined one and I was hoping someone can assist me with a couple of newbie questions. I just purchased a new 2007 250. I live here in San diego and I would like to know if anyone can help me with

1) Fender eliminator Kit, installation and where I can bring it for installation?

2) I would like to take out the turn signals and put flush mounted ones.

3) I would like to take out the mirrors and put the handle bar ones. I don't know where I can purchase a cover to put over holes when I take out the mirrors?

PLEASE HELP!

Thank you!

Default RE: Aftermarket Parts

Welcome to the forums, Chris. I'm not sure how much of a "do it yourself" type of guy you are, but if you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty, my suggestions should help you out here.

To answer your questions in order the best I can,

Questions 1 and 2 can be answered best by reading my original 250R makeover project post. I have pictures, links, as well as other members input that will help you out in this post.

Question 3) I would think handle bar mounted mirrors would be somewhat universal, but don't know about any block off plates to hide the factory mount holes. I replaced my OEM 250R mirrors with Yamaha R1/R6 mirrors last year. This is a part of my R1 mirror project post. They are fairly easy to install, and look WAY better than the originals. (At one point I gave up in frustration, but I found a better way to mount them later.)

Hope this helps out a little.[8D]
