Default Add-ons for distance seat confort?

My 250 now has almost 500 miles on it now that I rode about 150 mile from Richmond to Charlottesville Va today. Now that I'm starting to get the feeling back in my butt, are there any good add-ons (i.e. gel seats, etc) that fit well and will not require buying a whole new seat? Thanks.

Corbin makes a seat for the Ninja 250. I've heard good things about it, but it's $300!

I bet after a long ride, that $300 would seem like a small price to pay.
It's on my list of mods next month.

Here's a link to the seat. I emailed Corbin, and it will fit a 2007.

Its a real simple matter to unlock the seat, take it off, undo the staples, peel back the covering (1/2 at a time only) then take a electric carving knife cut out all except 1" of the edges. Then take some of the firmest memory foam and cut it to the shape you priorly cut out using the cut out piece for a pattern, then use sprayon upholestry glue, and put in and restaple--cost $12.00 and most feel it is better than a corbin but that is with each individual and according to the foam used and your butt.

Oh yes, there is also the sheepskin butt pad, some people swear by it.

Thanks for all the responses! Think I'll try to 'DIY' route 1st. Where to buy memory foam for $12? Even the small foam pillows sell for $60 around here. Bets place for the sheepskin butt pad also?

Goggle is your friend. You are looking at a finished product and that is going to be expensive. Look for end cuts and unfinshed sheets. My son bought a 4'x 6'x 4' sheet online and we have done all our seats and have not even made a dent in it plus he has given some away to hios friends. It dosent take that much. remember you can take a grinder and grind the foam, to shape it in perfectly with your old..Go to some upholstrey shops and look for scraps, thats where one guy said he got his (out of the dumpster).
Do a search for sheepskin butt pads.

My son is on a trip to Florida so I cant ask him where he got it.
