Nice one Live4!!! You are the first one i have heard from that actually took it upon themselves to call Kawasaki direct to get feedback and not trust some dealer's crookedsales dept. Thanks for replying to this post. It does actually settle some anxiety.The dealers in my area don't know jack!! They all say something different. One will say that 08's are sold out nationwide and to wait for 09's while the next one will say they have 4 coming in next week. These are "authorized" dealers i'm talking about too, they should know!! You can only put money down at one place unless your rich unlike me, so you have to pick the one dealer that you feel is going to give you your best chance of landing one. Frustrating as all hell!!!! i am on a waiting list of just over15 people. I am1 of only 4 on that list of15 that actually have money down. I called the dealer i went with yesterday and they supposedly have 4 coming in next week (i've heard this story before) and i am 4th on the list so i will get whatever color is left behind.I just hope it isn't green. ifit ends up beinggreen, i'm gonna take it anyways and sell it to some sucker on ebay willing to pay over msrp. BREAKING NEWS....THIS JUST IN.......received a call from my sales person...they have released 2 (green and black) from the warehouse and should be in later today or tomorrow morning...im in Deep South Texas...so if anybody is nearby and wants a stab at the green one i'd call and take my chances...dealership is McAllen Motor Sports u can get their # online.

Well crap! Nothing is consistent, I did it both ways and one worked and one way didn't and now they both work. Come on guys we need to figure this out, because the site owners sure aren't doing a very good job at it.

 

I just got on the waiting list at my local kawi shop and they told me a lot of the 08' people pulled out and got tired of waiting...but not to hold my breath ether..that more likely it will be september october till I see mine...which sucks cause I sold my bike b/c the original sales guy i talked to told me 2 weeks....*******! Now I'm stuck waiting and riding my friends 07...which is better than nothing...but I just really want my own. I'm hoping for black so I can put pink neons under italthough I'll take anything but red...and at this point I may even take a red ... I really want mine! lol....so frustrating!
