Iwent to my local dealer and was looking to purchase a 2008 250. They told me that they dont have any 250's in stock and dont expect any more in until the 09's arrive. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas when this might be. They had no clue when the 09's arrive and have no orders in place. Thanks for any help.

 

Probably Sept. or Oct. If you really want something now, you may ask the dealer to locate one from another dealer for you. But I guarantee they will hit you hard on the OTD (Out The Door) price.

 

i tried doing that, but he wasnt able to get bikes from dealer to dealer. i live in hawaii and the only other dealer is on another island. there out of stock also

 

yeah if you on the islands youll probly be better off to wait untill october when the 09s will com out.

 

I was also told that the 2009 Ninja 250 would be available before i would be able to get a 2008. The dealer i talked to said the 2009 would be available in late September, and this was from the largest Kawasaki dealer in our state.

 

At least a couple of the big dealers here (Atlanta) have more '08's coming. There may, or may not, be a list for all they have yet to come. A girlfriend of my wife's just puta deposit on an '08 coming in. It'll probably be the 2nd or 3rd next one they get, depending on colors and who wants which one.

 

well the dealer around here said they had two in stock, went down to pay cash and turns out he lied, they had been out of stock for a while and said they said they couldnt even get one onto the showroom floor before someone bought it.

 

looks like you might have to wait on it. not to sure when they will be out. Bikes have been selling like hot cakes since gas prices have gone up.

 

you could probably find a used one pretty easily. most people try to upgrade soon after buying the 250

 

My dealer told me he was supposed to have three 2008 250s coming in this month (August), but Kawasaki told him last Thursday they wouldn't be getting them & they didn't tell him why.
