I'm looking to get a 08 Ninja 250R...which dealer in the Dalls/Fort Worth or Houston area has one for MSRP ($3500) plus tax/title/reg? It seems like they all wants $4500 plus tax etc...which is a little rediculous.

I think it's absolutely ludicrous how these dealers are price gouging their customers over the new 250R. The problem is that we're talking about supply and demand. If you're not willing to take it in the behind, some other guy is more than willing to. Honestly, I wouldn't pay that much for one. Sure, it's much nicer than our old "ugly" 250's, but not when you can buy a slightly used 250R for half as much. Hell, $4500 can also buy a pretty nice used larger cc bike. Just my 2 cents.

 

I called all the local dealerships (and a not-so-local one in Tyler) and they were all either out of stock or quoting me OTD between $4300 - $4500. So I started calling around in search of leftover '07s and got one in Irving for $2953 OTD. I like the new body, but not THAT much.

 

I bought mine at the end of April at Honda West in Fort Worth for $3,400 plus tax. You did not happen to get your numbers turned around did you because I just called and they have the same price as when I bought mine? Sales person is Jae Bills or the other sales person there that is also helpful is Jerry. Ask for Jae or Jerry in sales.

You got an '08 for $3400 plus tax? I hope you laughed all the way home. That's the best deal I've seen on a 2008.

However, if you paid that for a 2007, you got bent over.

 

My 2008 250R just arrived at Honda West, $4076 OTD. Picking it up Saturday! Woot

 

I know here in houston you cant find one here anywhere. I called Clear Lake Kawasaki a weel ago for a friend. They have five on order and all have deposits on them for the last month. They are selling like hot cakes. Buy out of state and have it shipped if you can.

 

What color is it?

 

Saw a new 2008 red 250R with a helmet and jacket i think. Craigslist 4000 it is here in houston near me had like 300 miles on it , oh yeah and a yoshi carbon pipe

 

I got my 08 Ninja for 3199 plus tax which came to 3505 otd. That was in Laurel, MS at a small dealer. I had previously called every dealer in a 3 state area and no one would come off the MSRP except the guys at Pro Flow Powersports. Great service and price.
