Well guys, first off I want to say hello to everyone...been a while since I last logged on. So as some of you may know, I pre ordered a 2008 250 for $3800 quite a while ago. So a couple months later and 200 more miles on the zx6, I am having second thoughts. There is still a used 2007 (with 44 miles, I posted about this a few months ago) at the dealership and I am wondering what would be a good price for this. The reason for this is because I just want a bike for my dad to roll with me for a while without spending too much on it cuz its lonely when you don't have a crew to ride with lol. And plus I think that I could learn a few things here and there that I didn't on the zx6.Initially Ithought I would be riding the 250 for a while because I was still a little scared of getting back on the 600 after falling, but now I am much more comfortable and am actually doing very well on it. I'm taking turns very low to the ground, and performing well at low/high speeds, etc.and I thought thatI would never be able todo that lol. So I think that they are advertising it for$2300.So what would be a good deal. I know I can bring it below$2000, but I want the best possible deal. Sorry if I'm sound repetitive and got a little off topic at points, but....here i go again

 

take the older one if its just a pass around bike and if you can get it for 2 otd then jump on it. only downside is the older 250 looks like its anchient compared to the 08 imo.

 

I think Evil is right. If you're mostly buying this bike so another person can ride with you, get the older model.

 

why buy an 07 when you can get 92 for $800 and it will perform as good. duh!
