Sorry that my first post is a "how much" question, but $2600 for a 2005 Ninja 250 with 950 miles (garage kept). Worth it?

I have been lurking for a while now, and finally joined!

 

That's not a bad price, but I'd try and talk the seller down to the low 2k range. The bike is almost three years old already. (The owner probablyboughtit backin '04.) Also, if the 600 mile service has not been done yet, that would be another bargaining chip on your side. If he says it was done, make him/her show you the receipt for it. (The service is worth about $280~$350 at the dealer most likely.)

 

Thank you very much for the reply, I will find out about the service. I need to look through the forums for other "signs" of things to look for when I actually look at the bike.

By the way, this is from a person and not a dealer so that price includes everything.
