Anyone know about fitting a larger width rear tire on the new 250? What is the max width anyone has heard for the rear tire on the 250's?

 

unless its breaking traction going wider is only going to slow it down, reduce milage

 

the 250 stock tire size is excellent, for the bike, it runs great and really allows the bike to lean with little effort. why do you want a wider rear tire? it is just for looks? because if that is the reason then there is always someone who will have a wider tire.

 

When I looked at the 250cc moto series, I thought that the tires looked a bit wider in the rear, just thought it looked alittle better in my opinion.

 

is you mean 250 2-stroke than yes

but that is because 250 2-strokes put out a lot of power.

I see. well then, has anyone heard of swapping a 250cc 2 stroke kawa motor into a ninja 250? Probably not very economical but sure would be fun to drive. If anyone has pics or videos I'd like to see.
